I know I'm a bit late, however I have only just started my blog so I thought I'd share some of the limited edition screen prints I exhibited at The Aspex Gallery's affordable art fair. I used an illustration from my sketch book from uni of various keys (I love keys), showing individuality and how each key is unique to it's specific purpose. I printed the key illustrations in silver and purple, gold and green, pink and gold and turquoise and purple.
I also printed some personal work inspired by Portsmouth and Southsea from when I lived there for uni. The first three show my print of a nautical knot design printed on off white paper in metallic green ink.
Another illustration exhibited was inspired directly by the surrounding landmarks in the area, printed in two different colour ways. I included the Spinnaker Tower, Skyways roller coaster and the anchor statues dotted about Southsea beach.
The final prints were illustrations of imagery associated with traditional sailor tattoos, obviously relating to the area. I printed these in three colour ways; mint green and metallic dark green, light pink and dark pink and light blue and dark blue.
I still have a few of my limited edition prints available so get in touch if interested.
